Workshops
At Khairiyat Women’s Health Equity Network, our mission to destigmatize reproductive health and empower South Asian women in Canada is deeply informed by a triad of perspectives: rigorous research from scientific journals, the rich tapestry of experiences shared by women within our community, and the expertise of healthcare and policy professionals.
By synthesizing insights from academic studies on healthcare disparities and cultural influences, amplifying the voices and lived experiences of South Asian women, and collaborating closely with healthcare providers and policymakers, we strive to develop culturally sensitive education initiatives and foster inclusive community discussions. This holistic approach ensures that our efforts not only address specific reproductive health challenges but also advocate for systemic changes that support the empowerment and wellbeing of all women in our community.

For Youth
Educating children about reproductive health and sexuality is crucial, especially within South Asian immigrant families where these topics are often overlooked or culturally sensitive.
